How to play Water Sort
A planning puzzle about freeing space, not pouring quickly. Separate the mixed layers until each occupied bottle holds one complete color.
Controls
- Select a bottle, then select the destination. Selecting the same bottle again cancels the selection. Use Undo to take back the last pour.
Rules
- The destination must be empty or have the same top color, with space available. One pour transfers matching top layers until that color changes or the destination fills.
- There are 60 selectable levels. Each fresh level starts with three hints; a successful hint highlights a suggested source and destination.
Plan your next move
- Before using an empty bottle, check what color the pour will expose underneath. Empty space is most useful when it frees a blocked color.
- If a sequence closes off your options, undo pours to recover working space. The hint solver can suggest a move, but may ask you to undo when it cannot find a continuation.
